Two winners cross the plate to score spring-training victories in their brackets this morning. As prognosticated is yesterday's roundup, the Dominator dominates the field in the Race to 2000, earning his first major victory in the Seti Racing League. Overtaking both the Evader and Pyxis within the last several weeks, Dom proved that perserverence and consistency are his hallmarks. With a powerful, consistent style, the Dominator passed Pyxis who had lead the contest throughout only one day ago, bringing the crowd to it's feet to cheer another race that has become so popular on the SRL circuit, the come-from-behind nail-biter. Congratulations, Dom and congratulations to Pyxis and Evadman as well. And for those of you who wish to watch Domination race some more, he's starring in the sequel to the Race to 2000, the Race to 3000, also known as Dominator 2: Purgement Day. :Q
Our second race winner this morning hails from America's Heartland, Nebraska, and is none other than Micron, who has quickly established himself as a fan favorite with his "take on the league" attitude and his no holds barred racing style that some may say borders on wreckless. A relative newcomer to the league, Micron has already cemented a position for himself as one of the more exciting racers to ever grace the SRL racing venues, never backing down from a challenge. Today's victory is at the mid-point between 1K and 2K, the Quickie to 1500 and occurs one day after nemur earned his first SRL crown. Nearly pulling off another upset, sprinting from way back at the start of the race, micron came up just a few packets short, yet still earns the kudos and cheers from an adoring race crowd. Congratulations on the milestone, micron!
The Big Dawg keeps hoofin' and woofin', digging up those burried wu's a little at a time. Yesterday saw Big Woofer paw up 65 big bones and if I were EvilWobbles, I'd be very afraid if this trend continues. But look out for IJump who broke the century mark for the second day in a row. Networkman keeps his sites on the 20K mark by June 1, dumping an impressive 74 wu's from his considerable home fleet and making his fellow racemates on the MTR E^5 team proud.
