Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! The 10K bell is ringing this morning as another Team AnandTecher morphs from four digits into five at the Holy Grail of milestones. Zooming through the ranks of the crunchers in the Great 10K Countdown, Captain CAD and his band of merry munchers that make up Team Basilisk420 sore over the milestone marker to earn their 10th K-Key engraved with the diamond studs shaped in the form of the number 71 in honor of their team position at the moment of their transformation. It turned out to be quite a battle between Captain CAD and LiveLongAndProsper for that 71st position, but it was sheer will and determination that kept Team B at the top. Not only is that key lovely and valuable, it also opens the door to the 10K lounge where the brewskis are a little bit colder, the Oreos a little bit fresher, and the babes have much smaller swimsuits and much bigger... brains. Congratulations, Captain CAD and Team Basilisk420!
Wow! Look at Tuffie go! Sewing up a victory in the Race to 9000 with a super stupendous smash-mouth double dump consisting of 207 workunits, Tuffguy leaves Rowdy Ray waving his whacking cane at nothing but air. What a suprise this was! SRL prognosticators and statisticians had no idea that a duplicitous dump of this magnitude was in the offing from Tuffie's camp. Heading over to the awards stand to pick up his 9th K-Key, Tuffguy flexes his dump muscles one more time, much to the delight of the ladies in the crowd who squeal excitedly at the spectacle. Tuffie has become quite is favorite of the race babes during his brief time in the SRL. They have found him to be quite attentive to their physics lectures and he's aced every test they've given him during his previous sojourns into the victory lounge, so Tuffie can expect the red carpet treatment from the babes today. It is with great joy that we welcome back a cruncher who took a little hiatus from the SETI world for a while to beef up the ECCp team. The Capacitance Man, Electrode re-enters the SRL in Gimme that 6th K-Key! Race to 6000 with a new and improved daily average. It would appear that Electrode spent some time tuning up his rigs during his absence, a fact to which his 25 wu daily would attest. Welcome back to the SRL, Electrode! The KenTurkey Derby Thanksgiving Race to Crunch 1200 remains the scene of high drama and action packed excitement. A disaster has befallen neovan and his racing team as his racing rig stalls out heading into turn seven. As he struggles to restart his engines, neo watches both Minnie Minendo and Panhead49 kick wu dust in his face on their way by. Sliding expertly into Minnie Minendo's slipstream, Panhead puts pedal to metal and zooms to within four wu's of the lead. Fans are beginning to don the blast armor and packet protectors and racers have all raised aft shielding in The Century Stud Stomp to 5000 as LANMAN's queue is reaching the bursting point. SRL officials have dispatched medical teams to Stomp Stadium to care for any injuries that may occur to anyone after LANMAN's queue reaches critical mass and explodes. Also, SRL cleanup crews have also been summoned and extra TP trucked to the site for what is bound to be quite a messy mass of cracked packets and wu fragments once the queue seals burst.
