Admiral Engineer and the Federation finally earn a long awaited victory in the Race to 7000. Today marks the first time the Admiral isn't the last racer left on the track since their heated inter-galactic battles with the effervescent reptilian Gul Dukat as they battled for dominance between sectors 2000 and 3000. Despite losing a number of plasma boosters to that incompetent, full-of-herself, ensign sporting the large insignias on deck 17, the Federation manages to cruise through sector 7000, covering 47 parsecs in the last 24 hours. Starfleet is proud of you, Admiral! Now, get your patootie over to sector 8000 ahead of the Sheriff and Rowdy Ray or we'll make that ensign your boss!
Fresh off a victory in the Battle to 4000, Major Tom takes none too kindly to the slap in the face with the gauntlet and severe taunting aimed in his direction by our good Ambassador, Baldy18. Tarca picks up the glove laying at his feet, steels his chin, sets his brow and answers the taunt with the showstopper retort, "Oh, yeah? Well, my dad can whup your dad any day of the week!". Thus begins the whirlwind sprint from 4000 to 4500 between the Ambassador and the Major. This should be a quick one, so don't blink lest you miss this one.
The Race to 15,000 between networkman and Captain Izzy is all tied up at the moment at 14,818 after a stunning day from NWM that saw him send the bytes from 61 wu's gigabitting through his LAN towards Berkeley. Excellent numbers, networkman. Another Race to 6000 sees the Crunchin' Canadian Mad Max nearly break the twenty wu mark, making the spectators wonder if the lady friend was able to assimilate a few more of Big Blue's machines. Still running in second position in that race, ElFenix, the enormous Alaskan King Crab with the huge scary fore-claws is a mere 6 wu's from reaching the major milestone of 5000 that should fall to the sideskipper tomorrow morning. Look out at the rear of the pack, Dlahr Dzhe thunders forward with 55, but I'd suggest keeping your distance from Droolie because it looks like he's saving up for another huge hocker.
The two racers left on the track in the Battle to 4000 are giving the crowd quite a show as the Great Dane and the Long Island Rocker should manage to cross the finish line at nearly the same time. Logix seems to be suffering a bit of mechanical trouble in the Race to 1400, allowing neovan to chop a huge chunck off Logix's early lead with an outstanding 21 wu day. The Team AnandTech SETI 1000 continues to produce it's share of oddities with the on-going synchronized formation flying of micron and frglss who once again match each others through-put with 12 as they chase down JetsFanatic and look at the impressive number forthcoming from all three racers on the Team AnandTech SETI 500 racing oval. Teriba still holds the lead as he steers to within 100 laps of the checkered flag. Excellent production once again from conjur in the Race to Crunch 1000 while Time2Kill throws down a 16.
