Well, as soon as Colonel Anderson's crew over at Berkeley repaired the packet deceleration chamber injection pre-filter gamma trap and brought the multi-redundant workunit collector array back on-line, everybody started dumping. And dumping. And dumping. Today's thread is studded with smilies and shockies galore!
Assimilator1, goggles down and leather crash helmet in place, grips the steering wheel of his mammoth racing rig tightly between his leather clad hands as the finish line looms straight ahead in 20,000 Before the Project Ends, or Else! No way, I repeat, no way will the Guildford Gentleman allow anyone else to pass him before he reaches the 20K milestone marker. Just for good measure, Assim1 reaches under his seat and flips the "Secret Weapon" switch that spills gallons and gallons of creamy Italian salad dressing on the track behind him. Hmmmm... He's going to have to have a little talk with his crew chief about coming up with a Secret Weapon that's just a bit more sinister.
Paf077 slides his monster masher into cruise control, props his feet up on the dash and lights up a cigar as he relishes the 300 plus wu lead he enjoys in the Funky Bunch Packet Mauler to 5000. Meanwhile to his rear, Sizzlin' Soni rumbles the roost with a godzilla-like 98, more than doubling up on all of his competitors while his lady fans in the stands squeal with delight at the sight of their hero's rippling dump muscles glistening in the sun. In the 5000 WU Queue Buster, the Sheriff pauses to glance over his shoulder and finds that Poundin' Pazoo is nowhere to be found. With the finish line only one day away, this would be cause for celebration against most competitors, but not so when the main competition is the master of the Queue-Tinkle-Powie maneuver. When the sun rises tomorrow, we'll know for sure if Zappin' Zod's huge lead will hold up.
