Seti Queue Going Down

With SetiClassic winding down, it's time to prepare for shutting down Woodies Team Anandtech SetiQueue (link in sig)

I've enjoyed hosting it...and thanks to all the users/clients for your understanding during outages. I don't have a firm date for shutdown...just whenever the queue runs dry, and all the WUs are uploaded to Berkeley. For those of you with remote fleets (you know who you are), you will probably want to start moving them off my queue. I will try to keep queue levels balanced, so nobody runs dry as things slow down.

Personally, I plan to move my crunchers all to SoB until I hit the 100T mark. Then it's time to give my electric bill a break for a bit. Maybe next winter I can heat my office with FaD???

WU Stats as of 3/21 - 3/22 - 3/24 - 3/28 -3/30----4/7 - 4/10 - 4/12
Queued: 473 - 441 - 401 - 326 - 258----61 - 0 - 0
Pending: 276 - 248 - 242 - 236 - 225----205 - 200 - 194
Results: 119 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 0----0 - 0 - 0

Gone!! Now time to get all those pending results turned in!

Whoops, I've been a little slow getting around to switching. Who's got a Q for me to point my little 4 units a day at? 🙂

Could someone please explain to me whats going on? I've been noticing for the past week and half that my seti client has not been able to connect at all, I was just browsing by and saw this thread and have to go to work in a few minutes. Someone explain me real quick and what I need to do, thanks.

You may have already gone to work but in case you check back:

The servers that handle the S@H data have had a lot of trouble lately. Some problems were of their own design but others like power outages for the Berkeley campus and a mysterious loss of their internet provider have caused a lot of people to run short of WUs. We provide a secondary stash of WUs on our TeAm AnandTech SetiQueue Servers. 🙂

Though I don't recognize your name as a member of our TeAm you are still more than welcome to hitch up your machine(s) to one of our TeAm SetiQueues.

Just change the following settings and you'll have WUs even when UC Berkeley goes down for whatever reason.

HOST: smokeball.dns2go.com
PORT: 5517

And if you don't already have another team affiliation we would be proud to have you join us. 😀

Bump...also..the queue will be up until all the WUs are gone. Just wanted to give a heads-up to those of you with remote fleets.
Please don't make ME crunch all those WUs! Matter of fact, some of you should join just to help me finish up!

not really...just when we've gotten as many results as possible. We're out of WUs, just waiting for the pending results.

That's odd, because I've joined it a while ago...Can you search further or tell me where I have to login to check if I'm still even with you guys? I'm about 98% sure when I got the new seti client I signed up for your team and saw my name in the huge list

From our SETIatwork stats page:
Can't find nickname "reddem0n" on the list.

What's your SETI username?

To verify you're on the TeAm, go here, enter your email addy you used to register with SETI & check your stats page. It will show if you are currently on any team.
