well i joined TA seti a little while ago and since then i have grabbed a computer here and there but one of my friends crunching for me insisted that i changed my seti name from nickburns to "solar solutions"(the name of our company) and i am willing to do it but i want to make sure i wont loose credit for the WU's that i have completed under nickburns, and also that it doesnt cause problems by the team seeing that nickburns hasnt did a WU in a while and de-activates my account...
 
you'll keep the units, you can even change email addresses and it will work. setiathome must use some id number or something to keep good track of this. there may be a minor disruption in the daily stats, but nothing permanent.
 
You can do 1 of 2 things ,either stick with the same account & alter your SETI nick (but there will be no seperate credit for the old name), or you can start a new account & let the old 1 go flatline ,the WU's will stay there unless you move them.
