SETI Q problem

My SETI Q is receiving wu's from one specific system, but after offloading the completed wu, it won't grab a new one.
I can see the network traffic go across the LAN as it attempts, but it just sits there.

All the other computers don't seem to have a problem with it. Any ideas?

The work horse is running Windows 2000 server and SETI Driver 1.6.3.5

I'm a little confused by your post😱 ,can you differentiate between WUs & results?🙂

Is it SETIQ that won't get new WUs or the SETIDriver client?

This sounds like the ole "Fat WU" problem.

Open SetiDriver, un-click HIDE PROCESSING so you can see what numbered folder you are currently processing (it may be the FAT WU).

Exit SetiDriver, browse to your SETI folder and delete the numbered folder in question.

Restart SetiDriver and it should be good to go.

If that doesn't fix it, then kill the whole SetiDriver Folder and start over from scratch ... that always works and you don't waste valuable time. 🙂
 
I noticed this morning I have two command-line clients now not responding. They upload the finished wu, but then it's not able to grab another.

If its able to upload, why doesn't it download?

I'm starting to think the SETIQ is whacked. I'm going to flush my queue and reinstall and see what happens.

Let me know if there is anything else you might be thinking of and I'll keep you posted on the possible fix.

I reinstalled a fresh copy of SETI Q and all my clients that didn't want to connect are now able to send/receive.

I'd like to know what's up with my wacked original SETI Q, but hey it's working right? 🙂

Maybe if I get time to compare the two installs and check the log files it will stand out. What's really going to cook my noodle is why it wasn't
refusing all clients on the renewal instead of just a few.
