Sorry man! That blows! I'll be joining ya in a few months, in August I join the ranks of the unemployed. Plant closure...... 🙁

Sorry to hear that for both you guys.

Should have nothing to worry about, your fellow AT experts swear the Economy is booming, greenspan saying for the millionth time jobs will be plentiful. He just forgets to add... in India to his sentence.

Sad but true Dave, very sad but true.........

Good luck and God bless!! with spring coming it would be great if you could take some time off and ride that motorcycle some! 🙂

Dasm that sucks for both of you. 🙁

Been there, done that. I was laid off for 9 months, ended up taking a job with a 60%+ reduction in pay.

Ain't it the truth. And more jobs go overseas. I recently read where Levi Jeans is or has closed it's last US plant and moved it overseas. And I'm sure more and more are doing that.
Add to that the "amnesty" plan for illegal aliens, and we are really feeling the squeeze.

They keep moving jobs overseas, and one of these days Corp. America will wake up and realize that all those "consumers" that they depend on to buy their goods can't, because we are all out of jobs or have had to take lower paying jobs to survive, and thus don't have any more spendable income. 🙁

Sorry to hear...it's sad when something like this happends. 🙁 Hope everything works out for you guys! 😀

Considering my career, it's even more difficult. I am a video game producer.

I will *really* be reducing production since I am losing three boxes at work, and my home machine will now be shut down when it is not being used so as to reduce my electricity bill. I am sorry to do this in the home stretch, but it is the wise course.

Sucks to see a solid wu producer such as yourself stop Seti, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I was enjoying our race! Good luck man.

It's not a problem. You do what you have to do. I had to do the same thing when I was out of a job for 9 months.

Outsourcing to India seems to be the thing, more as of late. We've gone ahead and done it as well for certain aspects of our business.
