SETI Problem....

Yesterday, I had SETI running on my laptop downstairs, but decided against it, so I exited SETI, and haven't run it since down there. Now, on my main computer, SETI doesn't seem to want to connect to d/l another WU. It happened once yesterday and did it again overnight(red satellite).

Just now I had it set to Display Transmit, and it's hung on "Sending Result - Connecting to Server". Did I do something wrong, and is there somethign I can do to fix this?

thx for any help 😱

Seti@home's data server is acting up, its not your computer. 🙂 I have been only to connect to send in about 1 result since yesterday, with 10 or so ready to go.

thawolfman,

Poof has a thread about TeAm SETIQueues at the top of this forum. Open SETIDriver and select "Proxy Server". Pick one off the list of Queues and enter the name in "Host" and port under "Port". Hit save config (may have to exit and restart after saving)...then try to "Transmit". The queue will buffer you some WU's and provide, almost 99% of the time, great, uninterrupted service....Plus...you can view your stats on the Queue stats page for the queue you choose! 🙂

Good Luck...

🙂

Berkeley has been having some issues....as all have said it's not you 🙂

Take a look at using one of t he TA public Q's.....then you will have even more work available and don't have to worry about Berkeley😕😎
