Can SetiDriver be run as a service? I know it can run multiple processes but I'm not sure on the service part.

I guess you could call this a bump. ;)

I personaly have never done it but as Robor said, I would assume that you set SetiDriver to run as a service and not the individual CLI clients.

How to run SetiDriver as a service under Windows NT / 2000 / XP

I've setup my ex's dad's PC like this (non-HT P4) and it was working but I haven't seen any WUs uploaded from him so I'm not sure if the user switching on XP has affected it or not.

Have you check if the process actually getting cpu time in the task manager? If not, check in the services if the service is actually set to run automatic or manual. If it's set to run automatic and you don't see it being listed as started, then there was an error somewhere that prevents it from running.

I have modified my Windows 2000 SETI Driver install for Windows XP Pro but haven't installed it yet since I keep on changing my settings in my newly built Windows XP Pro box. P4 2.4c HT enabled and slightly overclocked on FSB plus tweaked on the memory timings, has produced as high as 16 workunits/day (regular about 14/day)

Well...I'll be by there today to pick up my daughters after work so I'll check on it. I should be getting a good 7-8 WUs/day out of it and from looking at my daily totals and my SetiQueue at home, not getting anything. :(

You are running only the SETI client as service, right? You can copy that subdirectory then perform the same procedure you did and run SETI as service from the copied subdirectory:) Doing it this way doesn't cache any workunit so if you experienced any network problem, the service will stop when the workunit is completed.
