They found a repeating signal. Thats it.

The universe is made of spinning objects. Spinning objects have lots of repeating on/off like things. Think of a light house, with a light beam that flashes every x seconds. This is nothing special, probably just some natural phenomenon.

People get excited over Leonid pings. They sound wonderful and I did get to hear some a few weeks ago. Saw some Leonids too. 🙂
 
I saw the thread title and thought it might be a Brutuskend joke, then I looked at the thread author and it all made sense. UFO's are just secular angels.
