I'm not particularly concerned about my Top 50 status in the TeAm's SETI rankings. Plenty of folks know about my "TA - Romulans" account and the history there. Plus, I'm committed to helping The Federation achieve Top 500 status in the WORLD!

But, I only run seti when I'm burning in a new computer, in this case my new laptop ;-)

well it is certainly good for testing a machines stability, everylittle bit helps in our race to beet back bbr.

Ha Ha Ha , I can install a system that you don't even have to be close to your car to start it up, shut it off, lock/unlock the doors, open the trunk and have an alarm for around $300. on any vehicule. You don't have to by a sl 55-amg

And it will work from ~1000 feet away.

But this is cool because you don't even need to do anything, you just walk up to the car and it unlocks. Because we all know rich people are too busy to be troubled with things like keeping track of their keys and reaching in their pocket to get them out and who doesn't dread having to put the key in the ignition and actually turn it. Although I'm being a little hypocritical because I actually drive a benz (just an '02 230k) and I know damn well I would have gotten the option if it was available.

If SETI is going to be running until 03/03 (notice I wrote it in yy/mm format) I might be able to hit 40K.

Well I would have had the 10K if I had not quit for a month or so. I hope it dont end until I get the 10K. Only doing about 20 a day most days so I dont think I will make it.
