...okay so I want to use the same account on two or three computers. Will the WU's all update to the account? Can I actually do this? Cus I have it running on two, one comp says I only have 22 units and another says I have 23. Which one is correct?

Sounds like you're using the GUI/screensaver version of SETI. The total completed units displayed is based on the last time that particular computer flush/downloaded a workunit.

I prefer using SETI Driver with SETI client, no GUI and nice graph but workunits get finished much faster.

Im currently running it on 2 and a half machines. 1 RH 7.1 (I think) 667mhz(?) P!!!, 1 OpenBSD 2.9 550mhx Athlon, and 1/2 (not on 24/7) 500mhz G3 iBook. Im running CLI versions on each (even running the ibook in console mode right now because Mac OS X is microsoftish in that it likes the cpu ). None of the machines are really "FAST" but with a couple tweeks Im getting decent time for the hardware. Oh, and if you run it on a UNIX like machine, and dont wan tto use the machine for much else at the time (like if you run your comp 24/7 but are only at it for a couple of hours a day like me) run it at nice -20 most of the time. 97-99.5% of my Athlon 550 is going to Seti
