Since reactivating SETI a few days ago, my home box is fine, but having issues with my work box. A couple jobs (6.03, not AP) ran for 11+ hours and showed 0.000% progress. WTF? Killed those jobs, the next two ran over 30 mins and still showed 0.000% progress :|
Upgraded to the latest BOINC, still no help. Any ideas?

Hmm, I am running 14 comps on seti@home, both the astropulse and the seti-enhanced applications. I do not see any such problems as you describe. So lets look:

1. Check in the taskmanager: do you see the application processes running?
2. How much of the CPU's resources are the applications processes taking?
3. Do you see the BOINC-processes running?
If all is ok continue:
4. Check in the BOINC-manager the Message-tab. Do you see any error messages? (often in red!)
5. Check in the BOINC\projects\slots\0 (or 1 or 2)directory for the stderr.txt file. How does it end? Exception error? Does the file report progress?
In the last two steps you should see some kind of message about the error. Post it here, please and we can try to help.

Things to check:
CPU-temp (use SpeedFan or CoreTemp).
Check with Prime95 if the CPU calculates correctly.

OK, that should get you started ...
Let us know what you get ... :)

Well Peter, I fired it back up today, and all is well! Don't know what was up with that.
Thanks for your help!
