These stats is just experimental to have some SETI@Home-stats at all, likely will not be updated every day, and will likely only be posted out January 2006.

So, is basically just temporarily stats till someone else volunteers to take over.

Appart for Anandtech's stats, it shows how much more/less than Anandtech. Also shows based on RAC how many days for Anandtech to overtake the team, or be overtaken by a team behind...

Compared to "classic", Anandtech has roughly 696k wu, produced 4281 wu today, and by RAC 2969 wu/day.
BBR is roughly 1,12M wu ahead...
This numbers by using 23 CS/result.

Late stats to-day, since apparently was getting a cached copy or something so didn't know the stats had updated.

While last update had low numbers all around, likely due to an 2h-outage, todays numbers is higher all around, so wouldn't look too closely on 98k for Anandtech.

BBR is constantly out-crunching over 2x per day, while SETI.USA is over 3x so will soon catch-up. :(

I guess that BOINC - as good or bad as it mayb be - has enabled people to crunch different projects at the same time. Thus, those who crunch SETI don't have to do 100% SETI. I guess that's good for science in general but bad for the SETI output.

Bummer :(

Also many people have taken the opportunity to diversify.
I've still got a mate who hasn't switched yet ,I'll ring him now ;)

[edit]darn it ,he just went out

Thanks for the stats RD:)
Btw where do you see BBR doubling out output? ,unless I've mis-read things they are about 20-25% faster than us.

Well, Anandtech got 98k today, while BBR got 109k more than Anandtech, meaning 207k today, this is 2,11x more.
Based on RAC, Anandtech got 68k, while BBR got 86k more than Andandtech, meaning 155k, this is 2,27x more.

What your saying is true, I run 3 different projects;

CPAD

Einstein@Home

SETI@HOME

I suppose if I cut back on CPAD and Einstein@Home I could up the total in SETI, then again, I am 267 overall in BOINC total with a avg credit of 7,328. Is there a BOINC team total?

Ok I officially don't get it ;)

05__25.646.218__109.024__86.734_impossible__BroadbandReports.com Team Starfire

So your saying that the 109k of BBR isn't their total output but there how much their output is ahead of ours? ,in which case I can see how their doubling our output :( ,but I must say (& I don't mean to knock your stats as they are definitly appriecated:)) that is rather a confusing way of doing it.Normally we'd expect to see the total output of each team in that column.
I just re-read your notes underneath which says that,I'm afraid your grammar confused me their too;) nm:eek:

So how do you grab the stats?

If I get it right, the numbers RD gives are the difference between TA and the other teams.
Only TA's values are the "raw" numbers.
That means, that BBR has 25 646 218 credits more than TA, that BBR today produced 109 024 credits more than TA, that BBR's RAC is 86 734 credits larger than the RAC of TA.

in other words:
BBR has produced 41 659 842 credits (=16 013 624 + 25 646 216), has produced 207 493 credits (=98 469 + 109 024) and has an RAC of 155 023 credits (=68 289 + 86 734). This can be verified for example here: http://www.boincstats.com/stats/team_stats.php?pr=sah&st=0&to=100

I like the stats this way too: it gives a clear indication what TA has to do to pass, when it will be passed etc. The old way (giving the raw numbers) is so common and can be picked up at almost any decent stats-site. This is new and - IMHO - even more interesting: we need to know the difference to be able to catch up.

Well, would you really expect #20 would have any hope of catching-up to Anandtech in 30 days if their total credit is -106k, produced -2k today and RAC 3.6k... :p

The stats immediately shows how much Anandtech must increase the production to not fall even farther behind #5 and #17, and to not be steam-rolled by #38 SETI.USA in a month or so...

As for grabbing stats, is copying them from BoincSynergy over to Excel. While there is a "Credit added last 7 days", the stats for last day has not been correct, so just copy yesterdays totals in and calculate todays new production. Sort after RAC in declining order, this makes it easy to see which teams needs to be included. Afterwards calculate stats relative to Anandtech, and use these new stats to take total/rac to get #days for overtaking.
Getting the stats ready for use in Excel is quickly done, except always having to fix the decimal-point that is. :frown:

Afterwards the time-consuming part of using yesterdays stats-post and copy/paste new numbers to re-use the same formatting since the Anandtech-forums is awful in this part...

Yea stats in these forums is a PITA :( ,there is a way of simulating the 'posted' font format in word by choosing a particular font ,but I can't remember which one ( I think HB might know).

About No 20 ,I don't know I didn't look at those :p ,but now I do I don't understand how they can be '30days' away ,we've already passed them & they can't catch us with that output:confused:

Sounds like getting the stats is complicated!:Q (at least to those of us who almost never use Excel:p)

Thanks for the info anyway :)
