SETI @ Home - Berkeley down?

Me too. :disgust:

Probably 'cuz they knew we had a MTR coming to an end shortly.

Well, Berkeley isn't down like last week, it's just Seti that isn't working. Seti has been flatlined 2.5 hours now.
fastethernet1_1_0: 169.229.1.49: ssl-evans p2p fe link, must be the external link between SSL and campus, and this atleast is up.

Seti on the other hand is completely dead. Who mistook the light-switch with another...

Checking the Switch SNMP info it looks like they have been down since 3:15ish PST.

🙁

Remember the time they were digging out there and cut the cable??? :Q

<< So who won the MTR??? >>

Looks like Soni was getting the final stats ready but maybe got shutout at Berkeley?

click me 🙂

I almost drove the ~25 miles downtown to work (do have some stuff to do) to flush the PCs...glad I didn't 😉

If they don't get this fixed until this time tomorrow, I still have another 200WUs to dump. 😉 😉 😉

....Well I will.

This is not a problem they just heard that this was a big weekend for TARCA and turned everything off so I would not sit in front of my PC all weekend watching my stats....LOL Well I guess I will go play a little Xbox😉

it's always about me, remember that... did somebody mention a conspiracy:Q

Well, it is only fitting. We started this MTR under duress and it looks like it will end the same way. 🙁

Sort of ironic, isn't it? :|

so where were we....

Oh yeah.

Berkeley is so DOWN...

How Down are they???

Berkeley is so DOWN millions of SETI users are taking Prozac!

Well, let's get the next race organized. 😀

1st off, we use everybody's ending averages for the next lineup. Somebody else needs to step up and volunteer to do the sorting ... I had so much trouble with this one I need a break. 😉

if your using SetiQueue, all you have to do is go to its adress and login then click connect, and then just select how long...

Yeeeiikkkeees, and under 8 hours to the finish of this MTR!!! :frown:

Let's hope these bird brained people in charge of the servers at Berkeley wake up and notice that something is wrong.

I'll keep trying and see if anything changes. 😕

Paf

GRRRRR it's still down 🙁

And Soni's stats page hasn't updated, i'll talk to him later about what we'll do about it, and if needbe extend it to take the finishing results tonight, providing Berkeley come back up, then we'll get the dumps done.

The PCs at work can't connect to anything SETI-related thru the proxy/firewall 🙁

I have to dial-up with my laptop and map drives to each machine and manually run SETIDriver to upload the WUs. A little laborious (esp. on Monday's or when I've been out a while) but it works.
