OK, changed the path, created all the fake files necessary, got seti to run (sorta) , connect, download a WU, but now this plagues me:

file_set_error: No such file or directory
fixme:ntdll:RtlNtStatusToDosError no mapping for 0001869f
Unknown error -1

This happens after dl'ing a WU just as processing should begin 🙁

I'm begining to remember why I was so happy when win3.1 came out.
DOS wasn't that much fun either.:brokenheart:


 
I did a quick web search and at least one site I came across claims that that wine is broken in Mandrake 9.1. Who knows?

I don't know how Linux savvy you are, but you may want to uninstall the version you have and get a newer version from Wine HQ. I can't guarantee that will work either, though. Wine is one of those perpetually unfinished projects. A binary would be easier to install, but a recompile from source might have a better chance of working.
