SETI gives Splutters

clear with speakers on but without any sound source.

Once any sound, mp3, wav, midi, mpeg file loads, i get this fascinating spluttering sound which is a cross between an failing engine startup and the crashing of ocean waves. Occurs at regular intervals. Disabled EAX, no go. Closed everything but ICQ and SETI and the song and it continued. Closed SETI CommandLine 3.03 and peace & clear sound at last. 🙂

I have the same problem but only with my Dualie rig. If I run with the native Win2K drivers, no problems. The minute I load in Liveware 3.0, weird sounds come out of the speakers and unistalling it basically screws the OS. Reinstallation is the only solution 😛

I have no problems whatsoever when I run Liveware 3.0 on my uni-processor rigs.
