I'd like to know (link?) how to set up SETI Driver as a service in both Win2k and Win9x/me. Also, when you set SETI Driver up as a service, it autostarts, with windows, right?
This link has ready-to-go SETI Driver as a service installs for both 9X/ME and NT/2K. If it's running as a service, it will start as soon as Windows loads. Thus, if you have computers that sit at login screens a lot of the time, that time isn't wasted, it will still be crunching.
Sorry guys, on that page where it mentions IsOs's client installs, those are actually with SETI Driver. The SETI Driver that it says not to use is one I'm working on.
Um, so does it work, or does it not? I would like to set it up as a service on the machines at my friend's store, because they sometimes sit idle at the Log In screen.
