Does anyone know if both Seti1 and SetiBOINC data servers are BOTH down now?

I can't connect to either from any of my computers and it's been like that for the last few hours now.

Cheers,
Pie

for the Boinc project I'm receiving weird error's..

SETI@home - 2004-06-29 19:01:15 - Error on file upload: can't open file: %s

anyone know what that could mean? Looks like it's not a problem from their side..

Can someone help me with the new boinc settings? I've installed it but not sure it's configured properly, and can't get any connections.

You can't get a connection to the BOINC-servers for the moment, since they've being worked on.

Warning: The new version of SETI@home noted below is temporarily offline (for an hour or two) as we are in the process of clearing some bottlenecks. Please check back again soon.

Upload of the result-files is working again, but neither the scheduling-server nor the web-server is currently responding...

SetiBOINC is STILL down! I really wish they wouldn't say "an hour or two" when they actually mean "a day or two". They've really got to get themselves into gear.

What a way to start a project Berkeley!:disgust:

Well, someone must be working late, since the web-page is now back up and atleast partially running. But the scheduling-server is still down, so no new work.

Looks like their site is up but the downstream schedulers (from our side) are still down.

How long ago was it "One or two hours..."?

PD

PS: Kudos to whoever is working late though :D

Yesterday morning we shutdown the front-end of the system to let the transitioners catch-up with several days worth of backlogged work, which is why some of you were noticing three results and no credit assignment. During the down time we also converted the scheduler into a fast-cgi application. Upon bringing the system back up the new fast-cgi scheduler decided to choke on something that it hadn?t choked on in Alpha. We are currently debugging the new scheduler. We were able to get through 60% of the backlogged work.

At last the scheduler has started responding again... that the project is shut down for maintanance...
