Have been considering lending a hand to the RC-5 team. Just realized that I have almost 50,000 blocks accumulated under my e-mail address. Would like to drop them in the Seti Cavlry account, but I don't suppose that is possible since there is no "join team" at the bottom of the page.
Any ideas?😕
 
That is a kind offer, but once blocks are cracked under an e-mail, they are tagged with that e-mail addy. The only way to give them to Seti Cavalry is to retire your e-mial account into ta_seti@ hotmail.com or set your client to that addy for all future blocks🙂

As a mini team, they are not really a "team" for Dnet purposes, they are really just a "participant" so you can't join them. If you want to do RC5 for the SETI Calvary 🙂D) just use their email addy.
 
Phiton: Based on what OK said, you could retire the ID into the Seti Calvary AND start using the SC account for new production.

So, how does one retire an account? I might just do that also. Alone, my stats are not very impressive, but they are improving! 🙂😀
 
I don't know how to retire an account, but 50K blocks would certainly improve on the meager amounts I've been able to contribute to the Cavalry account recently! 😀
 
Looks like it is a piece of cake! I edited my profile and this was near the bottom:

If this address is no longer current/valid, you may "retire" its blocks into another email address.

So, as they said, update your clients and then retire it! Who is game for this?

 
Phiton: When are you going to do your dump? This change will get the Cav into the TeAm's top 100 real soon! Latest TeAm listing has the Cav at 400,299 blocks. I will chage my Apt. computers today, but will not retire my account until next weekend when I go home. I am doing about 500 blocks per day and increasing.

Any more help!
 
JW.-I don't think this is as good as I thought it was.😱 When I edited my acct. I noticed that I was previously with Team Anand Tech. These blocks were turned in during the first part of last year. I did not remember (more than 24hrs. ago) that I was on the TeAm at that point. So-the team already has the blocks.
However I don't like the trash that has been talked by some of the members of a competing team in our forums(you know who I'm referring to). Absolutely nothing torques me off more than some snot nosed kid with a gig of processing power, a big mouth and no manners.
My sincere intentions are to return to Seti in a short while; but starting immediately, this fleet is converting to grazing the Cows pasture.

Phiton: Well, Sh!t Happens...we can still get into the TeAm top 100, but it will just take a little longer! I've stated flushing blocks to the Cav! This weekend I will have about 4,000 block to retire to the effort.
