SETI: Berkeley's back online!

Woohoo, my 20th work unit jsut submitted itself. I still haven't signed up w/ any team.... or whether or not I'm going to keep doing it.

notfred, I find it had to believe that you aren't going to sign up w/ the TeAm, you're a "Lifer" 😉 😀

I dunno... I have this thing about distributed computing... I find it odd, yet I've still got seti running. So, I dunno.

How far along is the project?

I haven't found anyone yet, but it's a race to the finish as the current program will be ending soon 🙁

They will soon have finished scanning what sky they can with the Arecibo telescope, and the Australian array will be used for the next little while. Once that is done, SETI will be used as a huge research tool for universities and scientists I think. It's all on their webpage...
