Just a heads up to those using my(&Federation) SetiQueue - I'm in the process of switching ISPs. The change over should come sometime this afternoon.

This switch is due to the lack of support and poor quality of equipment my ISP has. My new ISP will be Qwest(yes unfortunately I'm switching to the "dark side" :p ) as they are the line carrier anyway and they have 24/7 support which my other ISP did not. This should be a seemless switch(or so i've been told) since they only have to switch how they route me in their computers and then I'm sure I'll have to do a few config changes down here on my level since my actual IP will change.

Thanks for you patience - I will update as things progress.

/me hops on phone with qwest to get the ball rolling.

Nevermind- I guess I was lied to last night on the phone. Last night the guy said that it would only take an hour or so to switch me over and that they will definately do it on saturdays, but now it will take "5 business days to do the switch":Q SsssOoooo.... Please be aware that at anytime in the next week - the queue will be unavailable since Qwest doesn't seem to want a customer until they feel like it. Well atleast they have 24/7 support so I can call them and b!tch anytime the mood strikes ;):p

Thanks again for your patience.

Unfortunately they are the only ones that provide residential DSL lines here - as far as an ISP...I haven't heard much but anything should be better that Avalon;)

Your much better off than me, even with Qwest, as I do not have access to broadband of any kind. I live in a somewhat rural area, only 6 miles from town. But cabel will never come out that far, and its too far for DSL (unless is is ment to cover rural areas). My only hope is wireless. Sattilite is always an option but in my opinion it is over priced and the latency is way too high for me.
