Has anyone else had weird problems with the new Peachtree Complete Accounting and SETI classic.

I run SETI Classic with SETIHide and just upgraded about half of the computers running SETI to Peachtree Complete 2005. There is a serious slowdown in Peachtree when SETI is running in the background. If you try to update inventory items or even invoices and click the "Save" or "Delete" buttons, Peachtree hangs and shows as "Not Responding" in Task Manager. Eventually it will go through and work, but you can't expect 30 sec to 2 minutes waits on button-clicking to not be noticed.

I've tried just running the CLI thinking it may be SETI-Hide, but it is the client. I've made sure it's on low priority in the task manager as well.

Well, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a way to set SETI to run at an even lower priority. Otherwise, I'll have to switch to another DC project on around half of the computers I have. If I do that, I'd probably switch everything...

In windows task manager just set the priority of Peachtree to "below normal" instead of "low"

I'd try this. Peachtree has to run above idle priority.

I really liked SETIHide...

Oh well, the idle priority worked great :D It just took a little time to research how to install SetiDriver as a service because I didn't want the tray icon.

SETIHide has a lot better logs and graphical cache management, along with some cool charts and the option to hide the tray icon. BUT, I guess I can use SetiDriver on the clients with Peachtree :)

Thanks for the suggestion.
