I can take a joke now and then too, but FG is pushing an agenda now and it ruins the humor of the show.

maybe when BO wins they'll focus more on the crude humor and randomness that we watch the show for.

I laughed my ass off last night, but I didn't cheer at the Nazi-McCain/Palin connection like it seems many did. I wasn't especially offended either, since I don't look to Seth McFarlane to help shape my political opinions. Anyone who does is an idiot.

I will say that anyone who would SERIOUSLY equate McCain/Palin with the Nazis is trivializing one of the worst episodes in recent human history. But as a joke it was funny.

I will say the joke just kinda forced in that it didn't really make sense on the level of "this is 1939 Germany and Nazi's wear pins supporting presidential candidates in 2008 USA" but I still laughed the same way I laughed at Brian's oil reference.

Edit: wow, lurk much? lol

what'd he say that pissed the OP off?

I believe it was a McCain-Palin button on a Nazi uniform.

Hahhaha. Classic.

In all fairness though, if given only those choices a Nazi would most likely vote for McCain over Obama.

just saying.

Well, it wouldn't work with Obama though. I liked JibJab's take on Obama. Him prancing through the forest after a unicorn while singing about change had me going. Apparently the OP has forgotten about The Simpsons' depiction of the Republican Party.

Have you seen the one (maybe two) times they depicted the Democratic party?

The McCain/Palin button was absolutely hilarious. One of the better episodes overall, actually. I was not impressed with American Dad this week though.

On behalf of the majority of ATOT, you are a pronounced dickhead, douche nozzling douchebag, and consequently, we would like you to kill yourself, and rid us of your Closet Nazi, left wing propaganda subverted in a cartoon known as Family Guy which has ceased to be mildly funny after the first episode.

kthx

Hahahahahahahahahaha, bitter nerd is bitter.

Family Guy is played out, Seth McFarlane is played out. American Dad is way better IMO.

Uhhh...you know it's the same guy on both shows, right?

I do. Doesn't change my opinion though. I still think both are overrated (Family Guy and Seth McFarlane because of Family Guy)

If I had to pick between the two shows I would pick AD.

edited for clarification.

Nazi's are fascists. They called themselves "National Socialists." That doesn't actually make them socialists. And right-wing propaganda is not education.

From Wiki:

The official name of the party was Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei[9] (NSDAP) ? ?National Socialist German Workers? Party?. The Nazis were one of several historical groups that used the term National Socialism to describe themselves, and in the 1920s they became the largest such group. Nazism is sometimes considered by scholars to be a form of fascism. While it incorporated elements from both political wings, it formed most of its alliances on the political right.[10]. Among the key elements of Nazism were anti-parliamentarism, Pan-Germanism, racism, collectivism,[11][12] eugenics, antisemitism, opposition to economic liberalism and political liberalism,[13][14][12] anti-communism, and totalitarianism.

it is right-wing on the spectrum, albeit an extreme. Much like communism is an exteme left-wing institution.
