Ok, I can hit my SetiQueue from my home LAN but not from the internet. I've got the checkbox on to allow "any ip address"

Am I missing another setting?

BTW, I can hit the stats web page from the internet but it won't dole out nor accept any WUs.

check that in your settings you have it set to allow new clients and that you have the ability to download/upload units set to enabled.

Ayup...all set.

The IP address is set to 192.168.1.101 with a subnet mask set, too. I'll set those to all zero when I get home at lunch and see if that fixes it. Maybe that checkbox for allow any IP just doesn't cover it all?

What kind of firewall/router are you running? Be sure to check those settings to make sure traffic is routed properly to the setiq.

192.168.1.101 is your internal lan address - what's your external IP - the one of your internet connected network interface?

I had the same problem with my Q initially, could view the stats pages, just not transfer WU's.
Setting both the IP address and subnet mask to 0.0.0.0 fixed it for me :)

Indeed - and you may need to set up port forwarding through your router to allow the connection, if the queue isn't on your actual router.

(I'm not sure if this would be needed; it is for some programs that use particular ports).

192.168.1.101 is an internal, private address only, as Wiz said

Set it to 0.0.0.0 with the subnet blank and all will be fine :)

As OK says, put the address to 0.0.0.0 and leave the subnet blank and you'll be able to connect OK :)
