Set me straight, is the digital out available in Windows2000 and XP with these cards...

I'm looking at getting an Audigy or GTXP. I'm looking to use the digital out and I could care less about software AC-3 or DTS decoding, I just want the card to output the raw digital signal to my receiver and it will take care of the AC-3 or DTS decoding. I have a SB LIve! MP3+ now and under Windows2000, PowerDVD won't recognize the digital out. I forgot where the digital out patch for Windows 2000 was so if anyone can help me out with that too that would be great.

Oh, and if anyone knows, if I go to XP will I get my digital out back out of my SB Live! MP3+?

Using the Fortissimo II with WIN XP and PowerDVD and the siginal is passed via toslink cable
everything A.O.K NO dropouts no nothing

reciever is Sony DB 1040

PowerDVDXP also passes 6.1 discrete signals
