Ok. I'll have to grab some of those as well.

This specficially says it allows for casters so that's perfect too.
What about this and I lay a baseboard across the bottom?

Also, I don't think the top of the cabinet lays on top of the rack. There is dampening material up there. I kind of feel those 2 by 4s act as a frame?
I could be wrong though and just over thinking it.

Can't go with either one, both larger than SKETION cabinet.

The SKETION is only 24x24x30", and board thickness is 3/4" and you have to double that so it's 1.5" , so inside is only 22.5x22.5x28.5, you have to find rack that's smaller then this dimension.

On a second look, I don't believe those are 2x4, it looks much thinner, but I could be wrong. You can call it spacer or frame or whatever, you just need something there with correct width to bridge the gap between rack and cabinet.

Oops, did not notice that depth is adjustable for both. But you still need an angle grinder to cut off the extra length.

Well, it seems the distance between casters could be longer than 31" for 1st rack, probably not a good choice.

Took a quick look through that thread, and I noticed he had to replace his original casters as they broke due to weight. Keep in mind as well that when you're calculating the weight, you need to include the weight of the rack itself.

While I'm fairly impressed with the end result, if that was supposed to be a DIY walkthough, it sucks as a walkthrough. The cabling in that thing would also drive me insane.

I just used those five shelve resin shelve units usually found in the garage. They have enough holes for venting. And the holes are great for twist ties.

The build is 2 of them. If you look at the picture you'll notice he has a door on each side. So it should be more than long enough.

I just picked the 2 up today. Sucks about the casters though but at least I don't have to go through that heart break of b having my cabinet collapse.

I see, good luck with your build!
