I know its against there rules, but I'm just curious, is it possible to somehow run a server and link the changing IP addresses to a domain?

what kinds of speed are we talking about here, 128 up cause if that's the case, it's not impossible but just impractical

I don't mean a file server, I mean a simple just messing around with ASP.net type of server, maybe eventually for mail or something, no file sharing, and I think they bumped up the upload speed.

it's 256Kbps upload.

try something like dydns.org client software

not sure about other routers, but if you're using a linksys router, goto this page that has info on using another piece of software to extract your public ip address from the router.

never used it before, but i'd do a search/ask in the networking forum, or check out Dslreports Forums
