server/ nas tower case

I want to build a computer with only hard drives (no floppy/ optical drive(s). I would like a case with removable hard drive bays like a server, and with all identical bays. The box will run on Ubuntu with a local UPnP server for media, as well as a local html server.

How about a full tower case that has plain 5.25" slots on the front? Then put in 5-in-3 modules that let you install (hotswap) five 3.5" drives per 3 5.25" slots.

Just buy a cheap stacker (9 or more 5.25 bays) and buy 5 in 3 modules as nv2devnull suggested. It's way cheaper than buying a specialized case, and the hardware is basically the same anyway.

That's what I did for my home file server. I'm slowly filling up it's 15 racks (8 drives so far).

I payed $60 each on ebay for 3 Chenbro 5 in 3 racks.
