Server help

I'm brand new to networking and servers. I'm using apache. After a great deal of aggravation I final have my "server" working on my physical computer. I can put things in the htdocs folder and view them in firefox. I tried to access these files on another pc on my network and it can't find the server. I'm using a WRT54G router, would this cause a problem? I haven't edited or changed anything from what it did at setup, because I don't know what any of it does. Any help would be appreciated

How exactly are you trying to pull up your website. Using the IP address?

If you are using a domain name, have you forward the appropriate ports on your router?

We need more info.

I think so, I opened port 80. I can't give much more info cause I don't know. I have tried using localhost and my local ip address.

nevermind I fixed it. had to change the port for apache, then open it on the windows firewalls on all my pc's. thanks anyway.

One more question. How to upload files or save files to my server from other pc's on my network?
