Server boards that accepts desktop memory.

So I'm interested in a PCI-X card and looking around, I can only find PCI-X slots on server board unless I'm mistaken.

Now looking at a board like this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16813151172) I see that the manual say only unbuffered ECC memory. But when I look at supported ram example (http://www.tyan.com/support_do...ry.aspx?model=S.S5211) I notice they have desktop memory in the list. So I am confused.

I have a Q6600 and 8 gigs of corsair 8GB 800 memory ram and was thinking of swaping out with a similar board like the one.

Anyone got some recommendations and answers?

Thanks!
