Looking for something fairly simple (in my head) that will allow a server app to transmit multicast stream to a number of possible customers in a particular format. It's the transport method I'm looking for here.

Application currently gathers data from multiple sources and minimally processes it (i.e. convert to .xml or whatever).

Now how to get customers to receive this data. Would like something simple like a synchronizer but it would need to be multicast. We would throw away the data once transmitted, it is only important immediately.

ANy thoughts?
