Do you even realise that most games can't use two processors? Seems like a waste to me.

Yes, I know that. It's not a waste to me, though. I currently have a 2.2GHz processor and am looking to make the jump to TWO, 2.8GHz processors.

I can have one CPU running F@H 24/7 and game with the other one and never notice a difference.

Besides, I'm 99% sure I'm going to get 2.8GHz out of these puppies. TWO, 2.8GHz Xeons for $120 is a hell of a deal. 🙂

Add to that, I finally get to have my SCSI card in a proper 64-bit, 66MHz slot; a personal little goal that I'm looking forward to achieving. This is a hobby for me. Fiddling makes me happy.

Or you can encode a video/DVD or complie a program while playing Doom3... 😀

Not to mention just in general, speed on a Dual system should me more constant, and stable..

is 2003 more stable than xp pro? I mean, in 2003, CTRL+ALT+DEL responded every time , but this was on a machine with almost little programs on it, and the xp pro was filled up with programs.

2003 is not more stable then XP Pro. They share 99% of the same kernel. The issue is most likely due to exactly what you said, the XP Pro box had more stuff on it, and took a little longer to respond.

I dont get why people want to use a server as a workstation and do all that work. Its like buying a Semi-truck, tearing out the engine and transmission, then putting a a car engine/transmission for driving around the city. Why?

You now have the look of a semi-truck, but have the fuel economy and quietness of a car.
