So, in-place upgrade of a Win NT 4.0 server to Server 2003. Hardware should all be compatibel, everything looks good, but on reboot during the install phase when it works from the hard drive, we'll get the "windows server" loading screen and then a blue screen that will flash away so quickly we can't do anything.
Anyone know if there's a way to see what this blue screen is giving us? Without that info, we have been unable to troubleshoot this upgrade, and it will make us sad if we have to rebuild our primary DC from backups.
We can boot into safe mode, by the way, but we can't do anything -- just get a message that says setup is unable to continue in safe mode, rebooting now. Seems obvious that there's a hardware issue, but we can't for the life os uf figure out what -- al that's in there is the mobo, mem, processor, PCI video card, SCSI card.
