I want to setup windows XP pro like a terminal server (prefer it to be like citrix) where i can serve applications to outside sources.
Has anyone tried this and if so how>? ?
I don't think you can do this without third party apps. I personally have no idea on how to serve out individual apps from an XP machine (from a Unix machine it's a piece of cake; the beauty of X11). You definately can share out the desktop itself w/ WinVNC though (and I think WinXp has a built in desktop sharing program as well called Remote Desktop or something of the sort, I've never used it though).
I have Citrix available to me, and WinXP pro seems to have Terminal Server on it, but it isnt like 2k or NT it is all flashy and frankly it isnt very in depth.
