Well, the fact that hard drive space is about $0.50/GB after rebates makes it pretty easy to get a lot of storage.

tell the parents that it looks like a hacker had set up her computer as a porn server, as there was a huge collection of porn on it... after the father looks embarrassed, suggest they get firewall protection for the computer.

I built there pc a few years ago wankers......I put an 80GB so it would last forever..

Why do you even have to say anything at all?

Just fix the computer and leave it at that. That is what I would do. I'm not going to go pushing my nose into someone elses business, let alone stirring sh!t up.

 
I dunno I would look a little into it. This is really disturbing I hope the girl isnt in any of the porn.

I highly doubt it was the girl.

Chances are someone hijacked the computer to use it as a rogue FTP server. happens all the time.

Whatever man....her mother called tonight saying htat her pc was messedup. I spent an hour trying to fix it over the phone and finally had her install VNC> THat wouldn't install because she was out of diskspace bladh blah...


Basically, I ended up finding this stuff when we finally got VNC installed.

Don't believe it if you want..I don't fccking car....


She is a nice family friend for whom I've built a pc for.I've always friends with her mom...even before the kid was born.


Like I asked before, what other things can I do to lock her pc..want to make sure I am not missing anything?
