No one is using these domain except for spammers. Yet, they continue to release them as fast as possible. Most recently ".site, .website, .work, .date". I mean WTF, this is by far one of the most ridiculous, irresponsible things I've seen an organization do. I assume this is all ICANN unless just anyone can create and sell TLD's now.

/vent off

ICANN has been pushing for custom TLDs for a while now, which they claim will make certain things easier to find. More likely they're running out of .com's.

ICANN(ada) want more Internet money. They're the Internet, they deserve the Internet money.

I clicked this thread just to know what a TLD is. Answer was not in OP's post so I had to google it and here is the answer:

Top-level domain

Seen these at Namesilo. Doesn't matter. If an IP is flagged at stop forum spam or the network's ASN is shit I ban the whole thing. Just try using Softlayer, Amazon AWS, Hurricane Electric, etc at my site.

Who cares, if it opens up more domains for businesses then that's great. For example, if orangejuice.com is taken and you are creating a new company then you could be Orange.Juice
