Same here :) But you can't say you don't like hot tuna until you've had the real deal, which is a billion times better than the canned stuff.

Growing up I was always highly against fish of any type. When I was 13, I had grilled swordfish, and that brought me around. Just about any fish grilled is as delicious as food comes, though I'd say salmon is my favorite.

I used to mix tuna with rice for an after-workout meal, so yes, I'm fine with hot tuna.

Your new avatar is 83.5% more suitable.

Thanks. This is one of a few I keep handy. I like it but it seems a tad dated and dark. I screen capped it from a youtube vid last year and didnt edit it much. I actually like the Aircooled Cat avatar but am giving it a break for now. Yours is fine in a random sort of way, but for some reason doesnt seem to capture the esssence of a "godless astronomer". Oh well.

He said tuna sammich. Not tuna melt. Dont get all fancy and make shit up people!

I would not eat hot tune between two slices of bread.

I would eat hot tuna between two slices of bread with other ingredients added.

Ah hot tuna between two slices of bread is most certainly not a sandwich.

Tuna between two slices of bread with cheese cooked up in a non-stick skillet with a tiny bit of butter with tomato, pepper, a touch of salt... That's a sandwich. I'd eat that.

The thread title is "Seriously, would you eat a hot Tuna sandwich?"

A tuna melt is hot, it's filled with tuna, and it's a sandwich.

So if you like tuna melts, I think you can answer the thread question with a yes.

no, its tuna and cheese on any kind of bread and toasted in a toaster oven or an oven. the pannini press came much later.

i prefer warm tuna sammiches to cold, but i prefer all sammiches warm/ toasted.

oven = bad
hot frying pan = good

I love a good tuna melt on sourdough, with some good cheese(cheddar, swiss, muenster are all good choices), cooked in a frying pan with a little butter until the bread is a nice golden brown and the cheese is thoroughly melted. All I need to mix my tuna with is a little mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper. Nothing fancy.
