Actually, you're more likely to be a victim of crime in Canada than the US according to the UNICRI. Your chances of being a victim in certain violent crimes obviously are more/less in each country dependent upon the crime though (like murder in the US is higher). I think you're more likely to be robbed, etc. in Canada.

Personally, I think the Queen ordered it. They have to transport her pile of gold and jewels around in your friend's pickup truck.
