Seriously, FOX sucks.

Why must they always air the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode in November every single year? Kinda pointless by then. Why not just go ahead and delay Christmas specials until January while they are at it?

that how their schedule is. Plus isn't there baseball.

Yeah, I realize they are doing this due to the World Series.

You know, I don't mind watching games and all, but they way they do their schedule to compensate really screws up their shows.

What is so special about airing the episode in October? 😕

it's a special holiday episode. that's like airing all the christmas specials on Janurary 1st.

The Simpsons have sucked since the 8th season ended. Family Guy sucked the instant they brought it back.

Fox has the most incompetent management in television; they have the ability to take awesome series and, out of some malicious desire to appeal to the LCD while simultaneously controlling every aspect of their shows, ruin them beyond all dignity.

Does it REALLY bother you that a 30 minute animated TV series is showing a Halloween episode a little later than it "should" be?

just like what the redskins have been doing for the past several years with hugely talented players and coaches!

Yes. When I was younger, I could sit down Halloween night and watch a brand-new ToH, it was great. Now this just blows.

You know, this is why network TV in general blows. A single channel that tries to be all things to all people causes crap like this. I like cable so much better. The sports usually stays on ESPN where it belongs and doesn't screw up the schedule on the other channels (mostly, occasionally there is basketball on TNT and baseball on TBS, but most of their hows are reruns anyway, so I'm not as annoyed).

Yes. Luckily I have my deluxe edition Nightmare Before Christmas DVD as a substitute.

That must have sucked. Being alone in front of a TV on Halloween. I can imagine everyone else at a party on October 31st, except ViRGE of course, he's watching TV.

Dude.. he probably was talking about when he was a little kid.

who cares about the simpsons?

what's the difference between a half hour of laughless boredom in October versus the same in November?

watching CSPAN for half an hour might be funnier and more enjoyable than an episode of the simpsons.

Not really. Just finding something else to nitpick with Fox. At least they started the season earlier this year than they have in the past 5 or so years.

Damn straight. The Simpsons have been doing ToH for over 15 years now. Just about everyone here who isn't middle-aged would have been a kid(or at least no more than a teenager) when Fox was properly airing it.

Basically I'm just pissed that Fox feels that baseball supercedes these series. Guess what, a vast majority of people don't sit down and watch games 1-2 of the DS, and 1-3 of the LS. The WS might have a bit more, but if you compared that market share on sunday nights to the people that would watch the simpsons, family guy and american dad, there's just no contest. Then again, I can't believe they don't see what a value they have if they bring back Futurama. Can you imagine a KotH @ 7, followed by a Futurama, Simpson, Extra episode of one of the series, then Family Guy and American Dad? They'd own every single male aged 18-45 for THREE HOURS!
