I was quoted a Dell 1901FP out the door for $491. - That's with my Dell Premier Corp. Account.
I haven't called Dell support in years, and then it was only to get a new CD-RW drive sent out. The Indian techs are really nice when they realize that all you want is a new part, and they don't have to try to help you in their broken English.Originally posted by: ElFenix
on systems, at least, the corporate support is 100x better. every time i have to call for my roommate's laptop, purchased through dell large accounts, i get someone in the US speaking american english who understands what i say to them in under 10 minutes. when i call for my laptop, purchased from dell home, i have to wait an hour for some guy in india who doesn't know what the hell he is talking about explain to me how my computer has no AGP driver because it doesn't have an AGP port.
at least they do apologize nicely after you beat them for 2 hours over the head to get the problem resolved.
