Weird... beer never quenches my thirst. Water, Gatorade or iced tea work for me. Beer is something I enjoy, but not what I turn to when I'm thirsty.

when i'm thirsty i want ice water.

but for enjoyment? a good beer is great. on a hot summer day sitting outside in the shade with a cold beer makes paying a mortgage ok.

Nothing quenches thirst like an ice cold brew. It doesn't fullfil the desire for water. We used to finsh 18 hour days on the wheat combines with a cold becks-there was nothing better.

Beer doesn't quench my thirst, but that's probably because of the types I drink...and the fact that alcohol doesn't quench thirst it makes you thirstier. Water, gatorade, etc...those are thirst quenchers.
