I have yet to play any of the SS games, but I've heard great things. I want a trilogy collection during the summer sale :p

It was on sale for $13.60 exactly 1 month ago; that's when I picked it up.
If you keep your expectations in check, it's pretty fun.

I bought it at full-price because CroTeam is an awesome development house.

Yeah, I bought it on release last year for full price, and I don't regret it. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.

SS3 is my pick for most under rated PC game of 2011. Excellent, intense hardcore action from start to finish that'll put some hair on your chest when you're done.

I really enjoyed SS3. The only part I didn't like was like the last 1/3 of the last level before the final boss. It got pretty old then because of what they did.

Waiting for a deal, posted a question this morning and the dev poster replied. Got it.

I agree with the others: Serious Sam 3 is incredibly fun. There's nothing like turning a corner after having fought your way through hordes of ridiculous enemies, only to find another horde of enemies twice in number.

Pro-tip: Steam will recognize your game's serial number, no matter where you've purchased it. I bought this game on Amazon when it was $12 and was able to officially add it to my Steam library using the "Activate a Product on Steam..." feature.

Bought the digital version at Amazon for 13$ a few weeks ago. With all the hand holding cod clones out nowadays i found the game to be pretty challenging and fun. people don't seem to like it as much as the originals but I think its great , worth 13 bucks without question.

Just finished the game myself - what a slugfest near the end. The boss was a bit anti-climatic compared to the hour+ battle over 2 days and several reloads.

Still, I love these game!

Have to agree. I love SS, but the last boss monster was a let down. Not sure what they were going for there.

HD versions of the 2 encounters would be worth the extra cost, imo. Graphics are pretty bad on classic.. ;)
Ah, I thought they WERE the HD versions. Derp. I didn;t get the package coz I've already ogt the HD's, just bought 3.
