What I find two faced is that the same people who defend tRollo are the ones attacking Ackmed and the two are not even comparable... tRollo never gave unbiased advice and Ackmed does. Ackmed isn't scared to recomend nVidia if the price is right and has done so in the past.
You MUST be joking. Akmed is the biggest ATI fanboy on this site. Heck he is the biggest fanboy on multiple sites. Even people who I consider big ATI fans have taken a step back from him. You really should go and read his posts.....
Please, do show an example of me being a fanboy. Do I think ATi does somethings better? Yes. Do I say as such? Yes. Do I think NV is better at things? Yes. Do I post as such? Yes.
In fact, on another forum
today, I defended the GX2 to someone who posted ignorance about it.
His post-
Nobody said the GX2 was some really awesome new card, we hoped it would be, but really weren't disappointed that it wasn't.
My post-
Sure they did, lots of people. And the GX2 for the money, is a great card performance wise. I, and many others are not disappointed.
It is pretty funny you calling me a fanboy. Unlike you, I buy top end cards, from both brands. Do you? Nope. I have first hand expierence. Do you? Nope.

You're his equal as far as posting nothing but pro-Nvidia everywhere. I will give Ackmed credit that he has at least recognized Nvidia's hardware when it is due and suggested some of their platforms and cards over some ATI ones in the past. Also, it is nice to have members who invest in the top of the line SLI and CF systems when they are out since they generally provide gaming results on those said platforms. Ackmed has shown screenshots with framerates with both CF enabled and disabled so as to get an idea as to the performance increase in certain titles. Even though he does come off biased with most of his posts, being biased isn't against the rules here and as long as he provides claims with facts when asked, his favoritism for ATI really isn't that big of a deal. The only time it is annoying is when it is blatantly off topic or extremely glorifying.
I am biased. I have said many times that I am. Just because I prefer ATi, doesnt mean I wouldnt use NV, or recommend it. My last setup was an A8N32-SLI, and 2x7800GTX's. Thats NVx3 if anyone is counting. Why did I have that setup? Because ATi was late to the market, and I need more frames in BF2 than my X850XT/PE could give me. I am biased towards AMD as well (I generally like the underdog). However, if I was to build a new system right now, it wouldnt be an AMD, even though Im very happy with my Opty. I buy whatever is the best, at the time. I have used many more brands that wreckage could dream of for my systems. For every single part of PC's. Id be happy to compare track records of system parts, to see who is a fanboy, and who isnt.
And as you said, I stick to facts to the best my knowledge. I admit when wrong, just like in the shimmering topic last week, or whenever it was.

Hardly. What you and your pals do, is troll behind me. Then claim I take money for posting. Pretty silly, and sad. But then again, you dont think ATi has any IQ advantage, and think ATi cheats in their drivers. I guess that speaks for itself. /done with you
Whether you get paid or not does not detract from the fact that you sound like a salesman.
Your paranoia about being followed sounds like a deeply personal issue.
Someone could post asking what kind of monitor to get and you would reply "get a X1900 because it can do AA+HDR....... plus NVIDIA does not work with monitors"
I dont get paid, yet
certain people here say I do. (one of who is now banned for a month)
Its not paranoia, when its the truth.
Care to give me an example? Or is this more lies? Please, give a link. But since you did bring it up, I had to wait on SLI, because it
didnt work with my monitor. SLI didnt work with Widescreen LCD's for several months. Obviously its fixed now. Such wasnt the case when SLI came out. You see, unlike you, I was, and am on the front lines with hardware.
