Serious Sam 2 kicks ASS!

BD2003

Man, if there ever was a game worth every cent, SS2 is it. I've never played a game that made you sweat like this before. Its absolute insanity, and great if you want a challenge. The engine is incredible, the gfx are awesome, and its 20 bucks!

Someone explain to me why we pay more than twice as much for games with bugs coming out their ass, crappy gfx and crappy gameplay? This is absolutely top notch, the gfx were designed well, and the engine blows away anything else, even the q3 engine. I dont quite know how they managed to be able to have 50+ enemies on the screen at the same time, all with great shadowing, and yet keep it at 60fps on a fairly moderate system.

Anyone who pirates this game should be slapped in the face.

WOW its out now, I HAVE BEEN WAITING. I forgot the release date exactly, ON MY WAY TO EB now to pick up this great game. 😀 the first one rocked i know the second will

Tried to buy it here on Thursday but not available at BB, CC or CUSA. Typical of Florida. Ill defintely get it asap.

Really worth the purchase price, a hard thing to say about most things today.

Anybody try it on line yet? SS1 pauses on my machine.

Heh, got the last one at EB. I swear playing this game is like the twilight zone. Arguably the best programmed engine ever, with a great game on top of it, and it debuts at $20!?!

Other developers should take heed. If one of the best games can be sold for $20, why are any others being sold for more, and why the hell are we buying them?

You know, MOHAA was great and all, but it isnt nearly as deserving of its price tag as SS2 is.

Yep. It is a sweet game, and the engine is definately better than q3. I remember there was a tech demo level in ss1 and some of the things were so sweeet! I just kept thinking how amazing CS would be with an engine like that.

Is it like the demo? Unless I got a wierd version, all I got was basically a huge outside level with MILLIONS of respawning enemies, little ammo, and the objective was to unlockk some building or something. I did it, but I had to have gotten killed at least 50 times! It took me hours...

Maybe you just suck at it 😉 J/k

Got it yesterday, still on first "world"
Looks great, plays great, I like the chainsaw for those "square" looking monsters.
Worth every penny!

I swear, those screams that the kamikaze people make haunt me even when I sleep. I haven't this much fun with a FPS since duke nukem 3d

One thing i REALLY like about the new one (dont remember if it was in the first one) is the way the music gets louder and more intense as more enemies approach you then slows down and quiets down when you kill them....

I loved the first one and the demo for the second. I would be playing it right now but none of the stores in town have it in.:frown:

Passed Normal 2 days ago. Nutz I tell you.

I love the new weapons, flamethrower and sniper rifle being my favorites. I love the new secret portals and the telephone booths.

I hate the old enemies: Kamikazes, Kleer Skeletons, and Werebulls, hate them in a sense of damn they're back.
