This was announced yesterday. It is a very serious bug and literally affects every version of the Linux kernel shipped since 2017. IIt is also apparently trivial to use (i.e. 732 bytes of Python code literally gets you root on ANY distro released since 2017). If you haven't updated your Linux distro recently, you really need to. The fix is also trivial, and should be available for all maintained distros at this point. If not, a simple command run in terminal can remediate it.
