The vast majority of Native Americans died from disease

lead poisoning?

I'll assume you're kidding, but just in case you aren't the biggest killers were: smallpox, typhus, influenza, malaria, and tb. Native Americans had zero expose and zero resistance to these diseases and it's estimated (I believe) that upwards of 92 - 95% of certain populations were completely eliminated via disease.

Many of the hardest-hit populations were exposed to the diseases, brought from travelers and other Native American tribes, before they even had contact with Westerners.

Actually, the technical answer to the OP's question is: None and None.

Neither the Jews nor the Native Americans were exterminated during WWII. Both people groups persist today. :D

6 million jews or so in the holocaust. A lot more Native Americans were killed via purposeful spread of disease and war. Over 30 million which could be conservative based on what I have read.

So you buy into that silly small pox blanket bullshit I guess?

Are you a Holocaust denier as well?

Or maybe he just thinks the small pox blanket thing was exaggerated substantially and not the primary cause of death of millions.

Hmmm, can you really compare the two? How would you compare a serial rapist to a serial murderer? Is one really worse than the other? Or do you just agree that both are sufficiently deep into the "thats fucked up" category..

I don't think there's anything to be gained by subjectively ranking atrocities.

BTW, not many Indians "suffered the same fate" as the Jews in the Camps, except that they all ended up dead.

I'm surprised only one person brought up Stalin. Also, I'm also surprised no one mentioned Japan. While it was mostly Chinese, over 10 million asians were killed. Then again, as has been pointed out, it's the methods that make the difference.

Oh, and what about the Spanish and Portuguese in Central and South America?

Note that, as far as I can tell, only two British officers ever even discussed deliberately infecting native indians, and that was in context of a military operation. Not to say that it wasn't despicable, and that the european settlers weren't criminal in their mistreatment and double dealing with natives -- *BUT* to call something a genocide requires an organized long term effort to exterminate an entire race, and I don't think that is historically factual

I bolded the first part, for I think the OP is trying to count everyone in North or South America who died of smallpox, any other disease, and war.

AFAIK, those two officers actually *did* invoke a plan using yucky blankets in the French-Indian War.
