I'VE BEEN TO THE DENTIST YOU PECKER HEAD!

She gave a bunch of amoxicillin and said come back in two days.
I'm gonna die before I get this thing extracted.

I heard that it can be taken care of with an Ice Skate and a rock.

God dammit. To heck.

They refused to treat me. Said I needed to see an oral surgeon. Wish they had just gone ahead and done that two days ago. Could have saved me some time.
Next appointment with the oral surgeon is tomorrow at 3 in the afternoon. And thats only for the consultation. God knows how long he'll make me wait for the surgery.

Ice makes me scream in pain.

Speaking of which, I just got it pulled. And I screamed. And not like a little bitch with a skinned knee. I screamed like that dude in Saw who had his arm ripped off. The waiting room was empty when I left. The doctor had to stop multiple times to inject more septacaine. I needed 2 pints of saline to counter all the lost blood.

They said I cant eat or drink anything for 3 hours. Then IMMEDIATELY after that they said I need to take 800mg of ibuprofen with a full stomach.

I think doctors know too much about the body and not enough about real life.

This is why I don't go to the Dentist. Also why the Dentist will be calling the local Mercedes Benz dealer right after I am forced to make an appointment.

You can try applying ice packs to your face by the impacted area. Make sure you are applying it to the area with the infection\swelling..not just where the pain is. Sometime inflammation in one spot can cause the pain in another spot.
Did you try applying ambusol?

Thats benzocaine, and benzocaine hasn't helped in this situation. It cant penetrate deep into my jaw where the abscess is.

Fun fact: thanks to the infection my nerve went dead and I stopped feeling everything Thursday morning. I went in to an oral surgeon yesterday afternoon, she extracted it (with much blood and screaming) and now my body feels better, but my jaw is still numb. I may have killed a nerve for real. But with the infection cleared out at least I won't die. Am still taking the Amoxicillin and hopefully nothing comes back to haunt me.

I must be a 1%er. The only tooth that I've had removed, Jan 2017, the Dr gave me a Michael Jackson cocktail that left me sleeping the rest of the day.

Or he knew I was a pussy and didn't want to hear me whine.

I read on the internet it's a good idea to brush your teeth.

Too much brushing can be bad as well. Also what we lost over thousands of years is your mate or others grooming you of ticks and fleas and cleaning your teeth. Ask you wife/GF for some grooming. Failing that go outside and sit down open you mouth. certain birds will come and clean your gums for you, wear a bib so when they poop it cleans up easily.
