For those of you who sleep with your spouse/so/random stranger on a regular basis, do you ever have sleepless nights because they move around or talk in their sleep? Curious how common it is.

My SO has a tendancy to talk in her sleep... in two different languages. Myself... well I slapped her in the face during my sleep like the second night we ever slept in the same bed. Fortunately it hasn't been a reoccurring event. :p

Inspired by sleepless nights.

you slapped her? that sounds pretty sh!tty to me.

I punched my SO in my sleep once, completely on accident. Was having a dream, and I punched at something and clocked my fiancee clean on the temple. :p

Where's the "the bed's not big enough for two" and "I like to toss and turn, and having another body in bed is bad" options?

That's exactly how it happened for me. Pushing at something in my dream... IRL it was my gf's face. :p Needless to say she wasn't really cool about it, hehe.

My wife's a bed hog. This problem is compounded when one or both of the kids gets scared at night and hops in our bed. I usually end up sleeping on the very edge of the bed, which is not all that comfortable. I reckon I would be more comfortable sleeping in one of those beds you find in a submarine. I'd have more room at least! :D

I'm the annoying one. I toss and turn for like an hour before I fall asleep, and have to pee all the time. To top it all of, I occasionally snore or talk in my sleep.

it depends which bed we are sleeping on. my old bed was just a little bed that I could hardly fit on myself. so sleeping on there was a PITA with her sometimes just because it was uncomfortable. sometimes i would just sleep on a cot instead because it was more comfortable. it didn't bother her, cause she knew it was small. but her bed is a bed big enough for both of us so that we can sleep in our own space. we both love to sleep, so we know that falling asleep cuddling isn't always the good way because its not comfortable. if one of us is real tired, its basically goodnight and roll over and fall asleep.

but now she moved in with me so her bed is in my room and we don't have any problems really. i actually use my own cover sometimes though.

I don't lose sleep because of her, it's the other way around. :( I never used to snore... until she told me I do. :D

My ex once let one rip that was so bad it woke me up. My nose and eyes were literally burning.

Well - the first time I spent the night with the guy I'm dating, he snored loud and kept me awake. Second time I did - he snored, but I was so tired that it didn't matter.
